Ubisoft

Ubisoft is a French video game developer, publisher and distributor. Founded in 1986 in Carentoir, Brittany, by the Guillemot brothers, it is now one of the world's leading publishers.

The studio achieved its first international success in 1995 with Rayman, floated on the stock exchange in 1996 and opened development studios in Shanghai, Québec, Hong Kong, Spain, Italy and Morocco.

Then came the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell (2002), Rabbids, Assassin's Creed and Just Dance franchises, released across every platform, including online gaming. Since 2011, the group has also adapted its universes for cinema and television: the Rabbids animated series and the Assassin's Creed film, released in December 2016.

Between 2015 and 2018, Vincent Bolloré’s Vivendi group built up a stake in Ubisoft after taking control of Gameloft, the Guillemots’ other company. Rather than give in, the five brothers defended their studio’s independence, rallied their teams and their players, and in March 2018 secured Vivendi’s complete withdrawal. Ubisoft remained a creative, independent company rooted in Brittany, and the story is now part of its legend.

We worked with Ubisoft on two video productions for YouTube.

Influencer marketing for Shape Up

Production of an influencer marketing video for Shape Up, a fitness game developed by Ubisoft Montréal and published in 2014 exclusively on Xbox One. The format relies on the reach of content creators, who feature alongside the product and demonstrate its use to their community.

MrLev12, a French YouTuber since 2010, well known among Call of Duty players and followed by more than 1.5 million subscribers, teams up with Moundir Zoughari, former Koh-Lanta contestant and television presenter, to demonstrate the game. We produced the video, which was released on MrLev12's YouTube channel.

Making-of of the music video "On s'fait un Fifa ?"

This making-of goes behind the scenes of the music video "On s'fait un Fifa ?" by Cyprien and Squeezie: shot preparation, special effects added in post-production and a few interviews. A transparent, technical and humorous format, designed to extend the reach of the video.
