Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we are asked most often. Can’t find yours? Write to us.

Working together

Can we work together if we are based abroad?

Yes. We work with companies in France, Switzerland and Germany. Video calls, e-mail and online file sharing make remote work just as effective as working on site. For filming and photo shoots, we travel to you; costs beyond 50 km from Dietwiller are specified in the quote.

What are your opening hours?

You can reach us Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm. For an event or a website launch, we agree on suitable on-call cover together.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the project: a few days for a business card or an e-mail signature, two to four weeks for a visual identity, one to two weeks for a one-page website, four to eight weeks for a multi-page website. The schedule is set in the quote and moves forward at the pace of your approvals.

Do you work with regulated professions?

Yes, particularly healthcare professionals and the legal professions. Our content remains informative, complies with each profession’s rules of conduct and is submitted to your professional regulatory body before release.

Quotes and payment

How does payment work?

Every project starts with a detailed quote, valid for 30 days. A 40% deposit is required when you place the order; the balance is invoiced on delivery, or in instalments for projects lasting more than two months. Payment is by bank transfer, or by SEPA direct debit for monthly services. For small businesses, staggered payment is available from €2,000 excl. VAT. Full details are in our general terms and conditions of sale.

Where can I find your prices?

Our starting prices are listed on the Prices page. As every project is different, the exact price is always set out in a quote.

Do you charge VAT to our Swiss companies?

No: for a VAT-registered business established in Switzerland, our services are invoiced without French VAT. Where applicable, you declare the acquisition tax (reverse charge) in Switzerland.

Who owns the creative work?

Once paid in full, we assign you the rights to use the final creations for the purposes set out in the quote. Source files are provided when the quote includes them.

Websites and SEO

Will I be on the first page of Google as soon as my site goes live?

No, and nobody can honestly guarantee that. A new website generally takes three to six months to find its place, longer for highly competitive searches. We give you every chance of success: a fast, secure site (HTTPS), perfect on mobile, well-structured pages, structured data, content that answers your clients’ real questions and a carefully maintained Google Business Profile. Links to your site from other quality websites remain an asset.

And in answers from AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity?

More and more customers ask an AI their questions rather than a search engine. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) complements SEO: clear, up-to-date and consistent information on your website and listings, so that AI assistants understand you and cite you.

How can I keep my search rankings if I completely rebuild my website?

It is entirely possible, provided the migration is prepared before going live: an inventory of the pages that matter, keeping URLs where possible, permanent redirects (301) from each old page to its equivalent, a sitemap submitted to Google and error monitoring over the following weeks. A slight temporary dip is normal; when well prepared, a redesign often improves rankings.

Will my website need maintenance?

Less than a conventional website, but a little all the same. Our custom-coded websites have no plugins that constantly need updating; we host them in France, monitor them and back them up automatically off-site.
