Dietwiller coat of arms

Village of Dietwiller

Dietwiller is a village of about 1,400 inhabitants in the Haut-Rhin, between Mulhouse and the Swiss border, at the foot of the Sundgau hills. Its coat of arms, a golden tau between two stars above a silver heart on a blue field, recalls its history. It is also where REIDROCHA has had its head office since 2020.

Led by its mayor, Christian Frantz, the village looks after its heritage and runs nature and quality-of-life projects with its residents. It asked us to capture these moments on film, on an annual basis.

The restored Old Tower

After its restoration, Dietwiller’s Old Tower deserved to be shown from every angle. We filmed and edited a five-minute film that brings the monument and the village’s history to life, with commentary by a local history enthusiast, and wrote the text for its post on the village’s social media.

Planting a country hedge

In November 2023, residents, children and volunteers planted a hedge of local species together with the association Haies vives d’Alsace. Our video tells the story of the day: shoot planning, filming in the best light, editing, music and graphics in the village’s colours.

Path inauguration

We covered the inauguration of a new village path in photos, with elected officials and residents, an event also reported by France 3 Alsace. The retouched photos were delivered to the town hall for its communication.
