Madeleine, Versailles
Our work

Madeleine
At 10 avenue du Général-de-Gaulle, under the arcades of central Versailles, a stone’s throw from the palace and the Notre-Dame market, Madeleine is a neighbourhood sandwich bar and café. Its tagline, “Le goût retrouvé” (taste rediscovered), says it all: sandwiches and salads made every day, Lavazza Italian coffee and Dammann Frères teas, served at the counter or to take away.
Its founder, Clovis Morenas, wanted the shop to stand out from the street and its offer to be read at a glance, in the same blue-and-white spirit as its sign.
Display totems and coffee menu
In 2023, Madeleine asked us to create two display totems, placed in front of and inside the shop, to boost its visibility in the town centre and present its offer more clearly, true to the restaurant’s identity.
- Coffee menu: each drink illustrated by its cup and layered recipe (espresso, ristretto, americano, café au lait, cappuccino, latte macchiato, hot chocolate, Viennese coffee, teas), with clearly legible prices.
- Identity respected: the logo’s blue, white and typeface, a golden touch for the coffee beans, the Lavazza and Dammann Frères logos.
- Recipes checked with the client and files ready for large-format printing.

The shop
Under the arcades, Madeleine’s navy-blue frontage and its totems guide passers-by to the counter.
