France Bleu Alsace

France Bleu Alsace is the regional station of the France Bleu network (Radio France) in Alsace, based in Strasbourg. It is the heir to the first regional radio station in Alsace.

In 1925, the French state launched Strasbourg-PTT, whose powerful transmitter in Brumath covered a large part of France and Europe. Sabotaged in 1940, just before the annexation of Alsace-Moselle, the station was reborn on 19 January 1945 as Radio-Strasbourg, broadcasting from a temporary transmitter in Molsheim. Regular broadcasts resumed on 24 January, with the signature tune "Que notre Alsace est belle".

After the state monopoly on broadcasting was established by the ordinance of 23 March 1945, the station became Inter-Alsace in October 1966, the first regional programme broadcast on FM. On 1 January 1983, regional stations moved from FR3 to Radio France: FR3 Alsace became Radio France Alsace.

On 4 September 2000, the merger of Radio France's local stations with Radio Bleue created the France Bleu network. Radio France Alsace then became France Bleu Alsace. Since 6 January 2025, the France Bleu network has been called “ici” and the station is now known as ici Alsace. The work shown here dates from the France Bleu Alsace period.

Programme recordings and 3D logo

Radio remains the medium of sound, but filming programmes has become common practice. Video gives the programmes a face and lets listeners put pictures to what they hear.

The excerpts shown here were published on the station's website and added to a video catalogue, so they remain available after the broadcast.

Each programme opens with the France Bleu Alsace 3D logo, also produced by our agency.

SIRAC and "France Bleu Alsace, on fait la route ensemble"

Posters and visuals for on-air operations

Over the seasons, we also designed the communication materials for the station’s games and operations, for air, the website, Facebook and partners:

  • “On the road together”: the A4 poster for Alsace’s unique traffic information service, with the SIRAC and the network of listener patrollers, and the “Official patroller” sticker for listeners.
  • Fréquence Neige: scouting of ski resorts in and around Alsace, poster and web visual for the “Win 4 ski passes” game.
  • Valentine’s Day special: Facebook poster and banner for the weekends to win.
  • Games and partnerships: winners’ vouchers for Alsace geraniums, letters to winners, the station’s season’s greetings on Facebook.
